Biyi Bandele was born in 1967 in Kafanchan, Nigeria. He is the author of three novels, The Man Who Came in from the Back Beyond, The Sympathetic Undertaker and Other Dreams and The Street . He has written plays for the Royal Court Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company and for radio and television. Biyi Bandele lives in London.
