Gérald Leblanc
Gérald Leblanc was born in 1945 in Bouctouche, New Brunswick. In 1994 he received the Estuaire des Terrasses Saint-Sulpice prize for his Complaintes du Continent. In 1988 he won the literary award of the City of Moncton for his poetry collection L'Extréme frontiére, in 1993 he was awarded the Pascal Poirier Prize by the Government of New Brunswick for his collected works. His first novel Mantra Moncton was published in 1997. His most recent collection of poems Je n'n connais pas la fin was published in 1999. Gérald Leblanc lives in Moncton, New Brunswick.
