Petr Odillo Stradický ze Strdic
Petr Odillo Stradický ze Strdic is the pen name of Petr Stančík, who was born in 1968 in Rychnov nad Kněžnou. A descendant from an old Czech-Polish-French family, he has published five books, the latest a collection of short stories Broken Whorseshoe and a collection of poems Butterfly Songs. Stradický is one of the founders of the Dodecadents, “the Twelve-Teethed”, a group of young writers, artists and theorists. He introduced the web poet Gabriel „Sí“ Makumba into Czech literature through his experiments with “webics”, interactive poetry which uses hypertext and the multimedia possibilities of the Internet. Petr Odillo Stradický ze Strdic lives in Prague.
